Data Migration

To migrate data between two iOS devices that use the same iCloud account -

​

1.  Tap "Save Backup" button on Home screen of first device.

2.  If app on second device is new install, tap "Restore from Backup" button on app's Welcome page.

3.  If app on second device was previously installed, go to Backup tab on Help page and tap Restore Data.

4.  Message will confirm successful restore.

Please Note: Zip files need not be open, so you can ignore any request for password. 

 

To migrate data between two iOS devices that do not use the same iCloud account -

 

1.  Tap Save Backup on Home screen of first device and save to iCloud Drive

2.  Open Apple's Files app and find zip file of backup.

3.  Long press on zip file and select share option.

4.  Invite new user to share this file.

5.  New user can now get Tidy app and tap "Restore from Backup" to access your entire data set.
